keeping it simple

Some of my favorite things to do with Bida involve pulling out a random selection of items from the kitchen and seeing what she'll do with them. Two bowls, tongs, a slotted spoon, a whisk and ice provided me a solid 25 minutes of quiet.

It also allowed me to use those old ice cubes that never make it out of the bottom of the tray.

The best part? When we were all done Bida rolled up her towel "work space" and carried it to her bedroom. She must have learned to do that when she went to school a few months ago because although I didn't teach her that, it's certainly something we'll do moving forward. I want to get her a yoga mat to use as her work space and well… to do toddler yoga!
